Bringing Nando’s vision to life

For this project, we produced a fully bespoke lorry-shaped PR box, alongside a range of customised toy trucks and retail-style packaging to tie the whole campaign together.

The hero piece was the PR box itself - essentially a miniature cardboard lorry built completely from scratch. Using rigid board construction, we created a structure that felt solid and durable while still keeping a clean finish throughout. The cab featured a concealed magnetic closure for a neat open and close, and we added fixed wheels underneath to help give it the look and feel of an actual vehicle rather than just another presentation box.

We also customised the toy lorries used within the campaign. Starting with off-the-shelf models supplied by the client, each truck was taken apart and refinished in-house. The cabs were spray painted black to match the campaign fleet, while the trailers were wrapped in bespoke printed vinyl graphics designed to mirror the full-size trucks.

To finish the set, we produced vintage-inspired toy packaging using printed FBB cartons with display windows, giving the trucks a more collectable feel while keeping the products visible inside.

Projects like this are a good example of where structural packaging, print, finishing and hand assembly all come together. There are a lot of moving parts behind something that’s meant to feel simple and fun.
